How payment works
If your election's roster is on a paid tier, launching opens a checkout through Stripe's hosted checkout page — card payments only. You'll see the exact amount due, based on your tier, before you confirm. Once payment succeeds, the election launches and invitations go out.
If checkout is cancelled partway through, your election is left unchanged and unlaunched — you can try again whenever you're ready. If a payment is still processing, wait a moment and refresh; your card is only charged once even if confirmation takes a few seconds to arrive.
Receipts
Stripe emails a payment receipt to the card used at checkout, separate from anything inside Fast Elections.
Refunds
Refunds are handled case-by-case by a human — reply to your payment receipt email or use the contact form and describe the situation. There's no self-serve refund button in the app.
