On the free tier, Fast Elections sends no emails to your voters. Instead, every voter still gets their own unique, single-use voting link — you just deliver it.
Where the links are
Launch your election, then open the Voters table. Each row has a Voting link column with two buttons:
- Copy link puts that voter's link on your clipboard.
- Email… opens your own mail app with the address, subject, and a short message (including the link and the closing time) already filled in.
Export CSV includes a votingLink column, so you can mail-merge or paste
links into a group chat, one per person.
If you scheduled the election for a future start, links appear in the table when voting opens.
The rules still apply
Links are unique and single-use: each one belongs to one voter and stops working once their ballot is cast. Don't post a link anywhere public, and tell voters not to forward theirs — whoever opens it first votes with it.
What you give up (and how to get it back)
On the free tier there are no email invitations, no automatic or manual reminders, and no results email — you also share the public results link yourself after publishing. If you'd rather not play mail carrier, the $5 option at launch turns on full email delivery for up to 25 voters: we send the invitations, remind non-voters before the close, and email the results — exactly like the larger paid tiers.
