Always on — nothing to configure
There's no setting to remember: every election with email delivery reminds non-voters automatically. It only applies to elections with a set end time — see Scheduling: start/end times & timezones.
When reminders go out
A reminder is sent 24 hours before the election's end time. For longer elections, a second reminder goes out 72 hours before the end as well, so voters get an early nudge in addition to the final one.
Who gets skipped
Automatic reminders skip anyone who's already voted, whose invitation bounced, or who has unsubscribed from reminder emails — the same exclusions as a manual Remind non-voters send. No one is reminded twice for the same window, and no one gets a reminder they can't act on.
Extending the end date
If you push out the election's end time, scheduled reminders move with it automatically — the 24-hour and 72-hour windows are recalculated from the new end time, so you don't need to send reminders by hand to cover the extension.
Manual reminders still work
Automatic reminders don't replace Remind non-voters — that button remains available at any time while the election is running. Use it if you want to nudge non-voters outside the automatic windows, for example right after a change you want everyone to notice.
