The voter list shows each person's status — created, invited, voted, or bounced — plus a separate unsubscribed indicator. Understanding the difference matters when you're chasing turnout.
Bounced
A voter is marked bounced when their invitation email couldn't be delivered — a typo, a full inbox, a retired address, and so on. Bounced voters are automatically excluded from bulk Remind non-voters sends, since there's no point re-sending to an address that already failed. Fix the address and use Fix & resend for that voter individually to get them a working link. See Reminders & fixing a wrong email address.
Unsubscribed
A voter is marked unsubscribed if they opt out of reminder emails. This only affects reminders — it doesn't touch their ability to vote. Their original voting link keeps working, and you can still send them a manual resend if needed; they simply won't be swept up in the bulk Remind non-voters action.
Why this matters for turnout
Because bounced and unsubscribed voters are both skipped by bulk reminders, a shrinking "reminders queued" count over time doesn't necessarily mean everyone left is voting — check individual statuses if turnout looks lower than expected, since some of that gap may be addresses you still need to fix by hand.
